Hidden Valley Soccer Complex:

Visitors tell us that our Hidden Valley Soccer Complex is one of the best youth soccer facilities in the Midwest. Hidden Valley is home for the WDM Soccer Club's Competitive Program and was a co-host of the 2007 Region II Championships.

Directions to Hidden Valley Soccer Complex:

From west & north:  Take I-35 south to IA-5 south.  Take the first exit on IA -5 south (exit 102) for S. 35th Street and follow the signs to Walnut Woods Park.  The soccer complex is just east of the state park on the left (north) side of the road. 

You may also take the second exit on IA-5 south (Southwest Connector).  Turn left onto the connector.  Go north; take the second street to the left which is Walnut Woods Drive.  The main portion of the soccer complex will be on the right (north) side of the road.  A smaller group of fields is on the south side.

From the south:  Take Fleur Drive south to IA-5 North.  Turn right onto IA-5 North; go west on IA-5 north to the SW Connector exit.  Turn right onto the SW Connector.  Take the second street to the left which is Walnut Woods Drive.  The main portion of the soccer complex will be on the right (north) side of the road. A smaller group of fields is on the south side.

From downtown:  Take Fleur Drive to Park Street.  Turn right on Park Street until you dead end into 1st Street.  1st Street may also be labeled 63rd St.  (It’s 1st Street for West Des Moines, but 63rd Street for Des Moines).  Turn Left onto 1st Street.  Take the next right which is Brown Woods Drive.  Take this street to Walnut Woods Drive and turn right. The main portion of the soccer complex is located on the right (north) side of the road. A smaller group of fields is on the south side.

Note: Fields 10 through 12, which are the fields for all U9 and U10 Recreational games, are on the south side of Walnut Woods Drive. U9 and U10 Academy games are on fields 13 and 14 on the north side. Please make note of which field your game is on.

 

Raccoon River Soccer Complex

2500 Grand Avenue, West Des Moines, IA

The Raccoon River complex is part of the City of West Des Moines' Raccoon River Park. Operated by WDMSC, the soccer complex has undergone a comprehensive improvement effort over the last 30 months, including a complete regrading of the surface and the installation of state-of-the-art irrigation and drainage systems. Raccoon River is the location for WDMSC Recreational Program games from U6 through U10.
