Finishing Technique/Shooting Drills

The ability to complete a play or move.  

Young players have problems finishing because they lack confidence in their shooting ability. To shoot correctly a player uses their instep, the part of the foot where the laces are, to strike the ball. The instep provides both power and control. The most common mistake made by beginners is to use the toe. Not only is this painful if somebody tackles hard when you are trying to kick, but it is terribly inaccurate.
