Premier Games Volunteer and Referee Information
Volunteers
The tournament depends on a large number of volunteers to ensure success. Volunteers are needed in the areas of field maintenance, concessions, field marshals, parking, etc. Volunteers generally come from the following:
Tournament Committee: Planning for the tournament is well underway. If you are interested in assisting on the tournament planning committee, please contact the Tournament Director at jahentschel@mchsi.com.
Parents: Parent volunteers are the most critical component of our volunteer program. A Tournament Committee member will contact all parents of participating WDMSC teams in February and March to fill various roles. Any additional adult volunteers are welcome. Contact the Volunteer Coordinator at awipp@netzero.com.
High School Students: High school students seeking service hours can assist during the tournament weekend in the concessions area, T-Shirt sales, field set-up, grounds clean-up and other miscellaneous roles. Contact the Volunteer Coordinator for information at awipp@netzero.com.
Referees
A tournament of this size typically requires about 120 referees for the weekend. We welcome interested referees to inquire about our event. If interested, please contact the Director of Referees at hoffman@whitfieldlaw.com to indiciate the number of games desired, center/AR preferences, age groups desired, and your credentials.
