Settling the Ball
When a player uses his head, feet, chest, or thigh to receive a ball in the air and control it by getting it on the ground at his/her feet.
As receiving skills develop players will reroute the ball so it goes in the direction & the distance that is advantageous for the receiver (e.g., left, right, or forward and toward open space away from defenders).
