Winning State Championships and other local and regional tournaments is not the central focus of our Long-term Player Development Model (LTPD), it is a natural by-product of our player-centered approach to developing players. WDMSC has won more State Cup Championships than any other club in the State of Iowa and is ranked the #1 soccer program in the State of Iowa. In the past five years, WDMSC Select teams have won over 30 state championships and 14 runner-up awards.

Q: How does West Des Moines Soccer Club compare to other competitive soccer programs?
A: We measure the success of our Select soccer program based on the following factors: 1) individual player development; 2) placement of players in ODP, High School, US National team programs, and College Soccer Programs; 3) the success of our players and teams in local, State-wide, and Regional level events.
